Mandatory Training: Developmental Disabilities Awareness Training for NJ First Responders

DO NO HARM - Developmental Disabilities Awareness Training for New Jersey First Responders is the mandatory on-line training course for all emergency responders (including NJ-certified EMTs and Paramedics) regarding appropriate recognition and response techniques for use when encountering any individual with autism or any other developmental disability. 

Go to www.NJLearn.com to access the course.  Save your course certificate as proof that you completed this training.  This course must be completed as one of your 24 elective CEUs needed for your next recertification beginning with all certifications expiring December 31, 2010 and afterwards.  

* Newly certified NJ EMTs must complete this course as part of their first certification cycle.
