NJ EMT-B Protocol Updates

 

NJDOHSS has updated the protocol for administration of patient prescribed Nitroglycerine to match the Federal DOT standard.  See the Chest Pain Protocol and the revised EMT-B Nitro Administration Skill sheet. There is also a new Bleeding Control Skill Sheet.

 

Both skill sheets will be used in EMT-B classes and Core 12 and 13 classes effective immediately (7/21/2009).

CPR for Healthcare Providers (EMT's) will be offered on the following days at the Squad Building. 
  
  • Saturday: June 26, 2010 - 10am to 2pm
  • Saturday: September 25, 2010 - 10am to 2pm
  • Saturday: January 8, 2011 - 10am to 2pm
  • Saturday:  March 19, 2011 - 10am to 2pm
     
If you need a CPR class but these dates do not work for you, please let me know.  We can make other arrangements, but I'd like to keep to this schedule.
