NJ EMT-B Protocol Updates
NJDOHSS has updated the protocol for administration of patient prescribed Nitroglycerine to match the Federal DOT standard. See the Chest Pain Protocol and the revised EMT-B Nitro Administration Skill sheet. There is also a new Bleeding Control Skill Sheet.
Both skill sheets will be used in EMT-B classes and Core 12 and 13 classes effective immediately (7/21/2009). |
